White Gloves Moving Co. in Kona on the Big Island has secured a shipping container to take supplies and donations to Maui to help with recovery efforts following the devastating wildfires in Lāhainā and greater Maui County.

Anyone who wants to donate can drop off items from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday at the business located at 73-5639 Kaiakoili St., above Costco.

Needed items include:

  • Non-perishable food.
  • Blankets.
  • Towels.
  • Bedding.
  • New clothes only (used will not be transported).
  • Baby diapers.
  • Portable chargers.
  • Water.

White Gloves Moving Co. is a logistics business that has served the Big Island, Lāna‘i and Kaua‘i for more then 20 years. The firm is helping facilitate relief efforts for those affected by the fires on Maui.
