The American Red Cross of Hawaiʻi has a new board chair for the new fiscal year. Maya Rogers, president and CEO of Blue Planet Software, will take over the position from Jon Mauer.

Other officers: board vice chair Leslie Door (director of Research, Product Development, Risk & Regulatory Compliance, Zephyr Insurance Company), treasurer Warren Chaiko (senior vice president, Hawaiʻi Pacific Health) and secretary Marissa Cayetano Ross (sales consultant, Standard Textile).

Two people were newly elected and will begin their first full year of service:

  • Rowena Buffett Timms, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, The Queen’s Health System
  • Sunny Donefeld, vice president, Finance and Operations, Punahou School

Tracy Camuso (principal planner, G70), Jason Hagiwara (president & general manager, KITV4 Island Television), Kevin Paul (senior vice president, Hawaiian Telcom), Katie Pickman (general manager, Hawaiʻi News Now) and Scott Valentino (president, Pacific Current) are returning for their second three-year term with Ian MacNaughton and Noel Morin returning after a sabbatical year.
