Mary Kaniho

Hawai’i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Mary Kaniho of Waimea, who was reported missing by her family.

Kaniho was last contacted by her family on April 28 at Kawaihae Harbor. However, new information has come to light that she may be in the Puna area after one of Kaniho’s acquaintances reported that he contacted her on June 9 at 2 p.m., at a bus stop in Pāhoa.

Kaniho is described as Hawaiian, approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has tattoos on the right side of her face and neck.
