A 7.2 magnitude earthquake strikes south of Fiji (green symbol).

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck at about 8:06 a.m. south of the islands of Fiji, and at a depth of 128 miles, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

The center said there is no tsunami threat to the Island and State of Hawaii.
