17-year-old missing from Hilo

Jaysea Smith

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Jaysea Smith, who was reported as a runaway.

Smith was last seen in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo on April 20 at 5:30 p.m. She was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and slippers.

She is Asian with a fair complexion and thin build. She is 5 feet 5 inches and 107 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes.
 
Police ask anyone who may have information about Smith’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or Officer Preston Paglinawan at preston.paglinawan@hawaiicounty.gov.
