Theatrical dance performance ‘Bloom’ brings wonder to Kahilu Theatre

Prince Dance Company’s “Bloom” is a mesmerizing and theatrical journey coming to Waimea’s Kahilu Theatre May 6 through 7.

Featuring upper level students of Prince Dance Institute, Bloom promises to be a showcase of burgeoning talent and skill.

Prince Dance founder Angel Prince said, “‘Bloom’ is about every one of us. We all have the power to write our own stories and become the best version of ourselves.”

“Through Bloom, we hope to inspire audiences to embrace their own unique journeys and celebrate the beauty of growth and change,” Prince continued.

Mandy Abernathy commented on her daughter’s role in the show.

“I cannot believe how far my daughter has come is such a short time,” she said. “Prince Dance transformed her from a shy, insecure girl to a lead in the show.”

“Bloom” combines traditional and contemporary dance styles with aerial acrobatics to create a mesmerizing performance that’s inspiring for all ages.

The show will take place at the Kahilu Theatre and offers two showtimes, Saturday, May 6 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 7 at 4 p.m.

Tickets for “Bloom” are on sale now, and can be purchased through the Kahilu Theatre website.
