U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) was among the many officials in attendance at the White House State Dinner honoring South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on Wednesday.

President Yoon Suk Yeol brought down the house when he grabbed a mic to sing the first verse of “American Pie” by Don McLean. The 1971 track is one of the South Korean president’s favorite songs, and he was later presented with a guitar signed by Don McLean himself.

U.S. President Joe Biden and Yoon Suk Yeol also shared a new agreement intended to inhibit North Korean aggression, at Wednesday’s State Dinner.
