Wālua Trail to be temporarily closed for repaving

The Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation has announced the temporary closure of Wālua Trail in Kailua-Kona from April 24 through May 5, while the Department of Public Works performs repaving and improvement work.
The Department of Parks and Recreation thanks trail users for their understanding and patience during this closure as they work with Department of Public Works to make repairs to the trail.
