Update: Hawai‘i police find missing, at-risk Kurtistown man

Updated on April 21, 2023: The Hawaiʻi Police Department has located Marc Jones in good health in Keaʻau.

Original post: Hawaii police are asking for the public’s help in locating 30-year-old Marc Jones of Kurtistown, who was reported missing. He is considered endangered as he is in need of medication for a medical condition.

Jones was last seen walking in the area of Road C in Hawaiian Acres in Kurtistown on Wednesday at 2:55 p.m. wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, light blue jeans and hunter-green Puma shoes.

Jones is described as Filipino, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 175 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes, a thin mustache, and a goatee. Jones has a tattoo of a shell in the center of his chest.

Police ask anyone with information on Jones’ whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311, attention Officer Laurence Davis.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300.
