Big Island’s April Nelson named a top producer in March for Homebridge Financial Services

Homebridge Financial Services in Hawai‘i has named Kona-based mortgage loan originator April Nelson as one of its top producers for March.

Nelson, who holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, has nearly 20 years of experience in personal real estate transactions and more than five years of sales and customer service experience.

She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and her area of expertise includes condo mortgages, Department of Veterans Affairs loans, and financing unique properties on Hawai‘i Island, including those in lava zone 2.

The other top producer recognized by Homebridge is Preston Sims, a mortgage loan originator with team Hi Five in the company’s Kahala office on Oʻahu. Sims has more than 10 years of experience in the mortgage industry and specializes in Department of Veterans Affairs, Federal Housing Administration and conventional loans.
