On Thursday, first responders rescued an injured 32-year-old California hiker from the popular Kalalau Trail along the Nā Pali Coast.

At about 3:50 p.m. on March 30, the Kaua‘i Fire Department’s rescue helicopter Air 1 arrived at a landing zone on Kalalau Beach to pick up the hiker who had an injured knee.
