Swell Summary

Lingering small, medium period northwest swells will hold small surf along north and west-facing shores through the day. A slightly larger, longer period northwest swell will build in Sunday afternoon. This will provide a small boost to north and west shore surf from Sunday night into Monday. This swell will begin falling Tuesday with only small surf expected by Wednesday. A similar size, medium period northwest swell will result in a slight boost to north and west-facing shore surf late next week. Surf along east-facing shores will hold steady through tonight with a minor boost expected over the weekend as trades strengthen over and upstream of the islands. Several days of this moderate east fetch will result in little change to east chop through next week.

Surf: Minimal surf (ankle or less) for the morning with a knee to thigh high ESE short period wind swell filling in during the afternoon with occasional waist sets.

Conditions: Choppy/sideshore current with SE winds 15-20mph in the morning increasing to 20-25mph in the afternoon.

NORTH WEST

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.

Conditions: Clean in the early morning with SSE winds less than 5mph. Sideshore texture/chop conditions move in during the morning hours with the winds shifting SW 10-15mph.

WEST

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.

Conditions: Semi glassy/semi bumpy in the morning with S winds less than 5mph. Glassy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting to the W.

SOUTH EAST

Surf: Knee high ESE short period wind swell in the morning builds in the afternoon with occasional sets up to stomach high.

Conditions: Bumpy/semi bumpy with E winds 5-10mph in the morning shifting ENE for the afternoon.
