One of two security lines still down at Hilo Airport; arrive 3 hours early for Monday flights

One of two security checkpoint lanes at Hilo International Airport is still down on Monday.

Passengers catching a flight on March 13 should arrive three hours early.

Travelers should check with their airlines when ticket counters open if checking baggage.

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation is providing seating in the waiting area and water will be available.

The security line also was down on Sunday, causing delays.

Repairs are expected to be made Monday morning. The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation said it would update security line times and repair status throughout the day on its social media.
