Updated on March 6, 2023: Hawaiʻi Island police report that 14-year-old Cara Miguel, who was reported as a runaway, was located in Pāhoa on March 3 in good health.

Original post: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Cara Miguel, who was reported as a runaway.
 
Miguel was last seen in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision area in Kea‘au at 6 a.m. on Feb. 25, 2023. She was wearing dark-colored clothing.
 
She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and 150 pounds, with mid-length brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complextion. She also has a scar under her right eye.  
 
Police ask anyone who may have information on her whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
