Updated at 12:30 p.m. on March 1: There is now alternating lane closures on Highway 132 in the area of Lava Tree State Park in Pāhoa.

Original post: A large tree fell across both lanes of Highway 132 in the area of Lava Tree State Park in Pāhoa.

At noon on Wednesday, it was reported that the road in that area will be closed for the next several hours to remove the tree.
