Hawai‘i County will provide the public with information later this month about an upcoming road rehabilitation project in Hilo.

The Department of Public Works, along with Department of Water Supply and Department of Environmental Management, will be host a community meeting to discuss the road, water and sewer work related to the Kilauea Avenue and Keawe Street Rehabilitation Project. The purpose of the meeting is not only to provide details about the project but also to get feedback from the community about the planned work.

This will be an in-person only meeting and is planned for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Aupuni Center Conference Room at 101 Pauahi St. in Hilo.
