Denese Fishburn

Updated at 8:35 a.m. on Feb. 22: The Hawaiʻi Police Department has reported that 73-year-old Denese Fishburn, who was previously reported as missing, was located on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the Nanawale Estates subdivision and in good health. Hawai‘i Island police thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

Original story: Hawai‘i police are seeking the community’s assistance in locating 73-year-old Denese Fishburn of Pāhoa, who has been reported missing and is considered endangered as she has a medical condition that requires medication.

She was last seen on Monday at around 2:30 p.m. on Ginger Circle in Nanawale Estates, Pāhoa.

Fishburn is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 176 pounds, with blond and white hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an olive green sweatshirt with a turtle on front, multicolored tights with a diamond pattern, and pink slippers.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
