Keauhou Shopping Center in Kona spreading the love with special Valentine’s Day events

There are many forms of love and Keauhou Shopping Center is highlighting them all in honor of Valentine’s Day.

“With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, many in West Hawai‘i are looking for fun experiences to share with their loved ones,” said Keauhou Shopping Center Marketing Director Noelani Sugata in a press release. “We’re thrilled to offer a number of special options for the holiday, from events for the entire ‘ohana to a variety of retailers and restaurants for that perfect gift or date night.”

The Kona mall is excited to offer ways for guests to honor friendship, love and community this February and is hosting two free family-friendly events that would make Cupid envious. There also is a wide range of shops and restaurants to meet all of your Valentine’s Day shopping and dining needs.

Keauhou Shopping Center’s KidX Club, a program that offers free events to inspire keiki to connect with their families and explore their surrounding world, will host a Bestie Bash celebration from 3 to 6 p.m. Feb. 8 in the mall’s newly renovated courtyard. Sponsored by Big Island Collision Center, the Bestie Bash will be a unique way to celebrate friendship, allowing keiki and their ‘ohana to create Valentine’s crafts and cards for their loved ones and best friends. Eventbrite registration is required.

The shopping center will also host Galentine’s Sip ‘N Shop from 3 to 6 p.m. Feb. 10. This fun ladies night out promises women a chance to relax and treat themselves to shopping and giveaways, all while sipping their favorite mocktail and enjoying delicious treats. A free Keauhou Shopping Center Valentine’s shopping bag will be available for guests who sign up on Eventbrite.
