Jessiah Sablan-Cruz

Updated on Feb. 14: Jessiah Sablan-Cruz was located in good health in Hilo on Feb. 13, 2023.

Original post: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Jessiah Sablan-Cruz, who was reported as a runaway in Hilo.

He was last seen in the area of the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo at about 10 a.m. on Jan. 15, 2023.

He is described as having a slim build, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing all red clothing.

Police ask anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
