7.0 earthquake in Moloucca Sea near Indonesia; no tsunami threat for Hawaiʻi

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reported an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 occurred at approximately 8:06 p.m. HST in the Molucca Sea near Indonesia.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center confirms there is no tsunami threat to the Big Island or the State of Hawaii, according to the Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense Agency.
