Tree trimming schedule announced for Waipiʻo Valley Road on Big Island

To make Waipiʻo Valley Access Road safer, tree trimming will occur on Jan. 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 23 and 24, Hawaiʻi County announced.

The trimming will cause the road to be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on these days, with limited access to farmers and residents only.

No other roadwork is scheduled for the Waipiʻo Valley Access Road in January.
