The Hawai‘i Police Department advises motorists to avoid Pu‘uhonua Road in South Kona due to a power line on the roadway.
A down power line near Kealakekua Bay has closed Pu‘uhonua Road, between Manini Beach and Napo‘opo‘o Roads, and will require a detour of traffic for the next several hours.
