Open casting call on Big Island for lead child actress aged 10-13, good swimmer

A 20-minute thesis film called “Two Breaths” will be shot on the Big Island.

The University of Southern California team is conducting an in-person open casting call for its 20-minute thesis film “Two Breaths,” which will be shot on the Big Island in early 2023.

The team from the USC School of Cinematic Arts is looking for a lead female child actor, 10 to 13 years old and any ethnicity. No acting experience is necessary but strong swimming skills are required.

The open casting call will be held Dec. 17 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at King’s Kona Church, 75-5626 Kuakini Hwy in Kailua-Kona.
