Are you looking for more meaning in your life?

The Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital in Waimea is looking for volunteers, ages 16 and up.

Volunteers are needed to support hospital patients and their families. No special skills are required. The only qualification required is your desire to help others.

Volunteers perform a variety of duties such as: 

  • Escort patients 
  • Greet visitors and provide directions 
  • Deliver comfort items to patients 
  • Gift shop 
  • Office duties  
  • Deliver supplies 
  • Healing Touch & Reiki 
  • Pet therapy 
  • Garden maintenance 
  • Information technology support 
  • Read to patients
