The Hawai‘i Police Department scheduled two Coffee With a Cop events in October in Kona. These popular events give community members an opportunity to get to know their district police officers. Coffee With a Cop is intentionally informal, with no agenda, and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

The October Coffee With a Cop events in Kona are scheduled for:

  • 8-10 a.m. Oct. 21 at Kona Mountain Coffee Co. located at 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive in Kailua-Kona.
  • 8-10 a.m. Oct. 28 at Kona Coffee and Tea located at 74-5588 Palani Road in Kailua-Kona.

Residents are encouraged to stop by and have a conversation about topics of mutual interest and concern with police.
