Lilinoe Ferreira

Update: Big Island police report that 16-year-old Lilinoe Ferreira, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located Sept. 12 in Pāhoa in good health.

Original story: Have you seen 16-year-old Lilinoe Ferreira? If so, Big Island police want to know.

Police are asking for the public’s help with finding the Pāhoa teen, who was reported as a runaway.

Ferreira was last seen at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 9 in the vicinity of Black Sands Subdivision, wearing a green Pāhoa High School t-shirt and jeans pants. She is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds with a tan complexion, medium build, long brown hair, hazel eyes and a tribal tattoo of a hibiscus flower and turtle on her lower left leg.

Anyone with information about Ferreira’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311.
