Residents of Kona will have the chance to chat with officers from the Kona Community Policing section of the Hawai‘i Police Department over a hot cup of coffee on two occasions in September.
Coffee With a Cop events are planned for:
8-10 a.m. Sept. 16 at Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive, in Kailua-Kona.
8-10 a.m. Sept. 23 at Kona Coffee and Tea, 74-5588 Palani Road, in Kailua-Kona.
The popular Coffee With a Cop events encourage community members to get to know their community police officers. There is no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues and concerns.
