No Injuries in Abandoned Waiākea Structure Fire

An abandoned structure and the contents inside burned to the ground in Waiākea on Monday, Sept. 5.
The Hawai‘i Fire Department reported that the 500-square-foot structure was reported aflame around 7:45 p.m. on Maka‘ala Street. The fire was under control shortly after 8 p.m. but the $15,000 was a loss. No injuries were reported and nobody was in the building at the time of the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
