Both Lanes of Highway 180 Again Open in Hōlualoa

Update: Police reported at 11:42 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, that both lanes of Highway 180 are again open between Hōlualoa Elementary and Kona Imin Center. They thanked the public for its patience during the temporary closure earlier in the day.

A structure fire near the Hōlualoa Post Office has resulted in the closure of the highway between Hōlualoa Elementary School and Kona Imin Center. Traffic will be detoured for the next two hours.
