The state Department of Transportation issued its weekly list of lane and road closures for Aug. 13-19. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— MĀMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) NĀ‘ĀLEHU (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 67 and 69.5, vicinity of Lorenzo Drive, on Saturday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for vegetation cutting with side arm.

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 68 and 69.5, vicinity of 68 Mile Road and Lorenzo Drive, on Monday, August 15, through Thursday, August 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for vegetation cutting with side arm.

3) CAPTAIN COOK (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 104 and 110, Rabbit Hill Road and Napo‘opo‘o Road, on Saturday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for mowing and shoulder work.

4) CAPTAIN COOK

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 108 and 110, Government Main Road and Napo‘opo‘o Road, on Monday, August 15, through Thursday, August 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for shoulder stabilization and vegetation control.

1) HILO

Single lane closure on Bayfront Highway (Route 19) possible in either direction between Pauahi Street and the Wailuku River Singing Bridge, on Monday, August 15, through Thursday, August 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for boring samples.

— HAWAI‘I BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) HAKALAU (24/7 RESTRICTION)

Nanue Bridge at mile marker 14.27 on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is weight restricted to 12 tons (24,000 lbs.) until further notice.

2) HONOKA‘A

Single lane closure on Hawai‘i Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 41 and 42, Kahawai Road and Loke Street, on Monday, August 15, through Thursday, August 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for mulching and mowing with side arm.

3) HONOKA‘A (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 44 and 45, vicinity of Lower Homestead Road, on Saturday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for mulching and mowing with side arm.

— KALANIANA‘OLE AVENUE (ROUTE 19) —

1) KEAUKAHA (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kalaniana‘ole Avenue (Route 19) possible in either direction between Kamehameha Avenue and Kūhiō Street, nightly from 7 p.m. Monday, August 15, through 5 a.m. Thursday, August 18, for the Kalaniana‘ole Avenue Reconstruction.

— KEA‘AU-PĀHOA ROAD/ PĀHOA-KALAPANA ROAD (ROUTE 130) —

1) KEA‘AU (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Kea‘au-Pāhoa Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile marker 2 and 3, vicinity of Opukahala Street, Saturday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for shoulder work and rear unit mowing.

2) HAWAIIAN PARADISE PARK

Single lane closure on Kea‘au-Pāhoa Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile marker 4.5 and 6, 29th Avenue and Orchidland Drive, Monday, August 13, through Thursday, August 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for shoulder work and rear unit mowing.

3) PĀHOA (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Pāhoa-Kalapana Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile marker 7 and 10, Aulii Street and Niaulani Street, Saturday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for vegetation cutting.

4) PĀHOA

Single lane closure on Pāhoa-Kalapana Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile marker 10 and 13, Niaulani Street and Makoi Road, Monday, August 15, through Thursday, August 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for vegetation cutting.

— MĀMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

1) WAIKŌLOA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between mile markers 9.7 and 12.2, vicinity of Waikōloa Road, on Saturday, August 13, through Friday, August 19, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for resurfacing.

— ‘AKAKA FALLS ROAD (ROUTE 220) —

1) ‘AKAKA FALLS

Single lane closure on ‘Akaka Falls Road (Route 220) possible in either direction between mile markers 0 and 2, intersection with Highway 19 and No. 5 Bridge Road, on Monday, August 15, through Thursday, August 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for vegetation control with side arm unit.

— ‘AKONI PULE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 270) —

1) KAWAIHAE (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on ‘Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) possible in either direction between mile markers 7 and 12, vicinity of Kaupalaoa and vicinity of Lapakahi State Historical Park, on Saturday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for mowing and shoulder work.

2) KOHALA

Single lane closure on ‘Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) possible in either direction between mile markers 10 and 15, Kaiholena Place and vicinity of Honoipu-Pu‘uhue Road, Monday, August 15, through Thursday, August 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for tree trimming and vegetation cutting.
