Update: Big Island police reported Thursday, Aug. 11, that 17-year-old Kaiea Fleming-White, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located Monday, Aug. 8, in good health in Puna.

Original story: Hawai’i Island police report that 17-year-old Kaiea Fleming-White, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in good health on Thursday, Aug. 4 in Mountain View.

However, Fleming-White was reported as a runaway again on Friday, Aug. 5, and police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

He was last seen in the Hawaiian Paradise Park area in Kea‘au and may be wearing a black hat and black shoes. He may also be carrying a black back pack and a skateboard.

Fleming-White is described as having a tan complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 130 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information about Fleming-White’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Onan Masaoka of Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
