Residents of West Hawai‘i are invited to come have a cup of joe and talk story with Hawai‘i Police Department officers during three Coffee With a Cop events this month.
These popular community events provide the public an informal way to get to know their area community policing officers. There is no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
Coffee With a Cop events are scheduled for:
10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Aug. 16, at the Royal Kona Coffee Center, 83-5427 Māmalahoa Highway in Captain Cook.
8-10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive in Kailua-Kona.
8-10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Kona Coffee and Tea, 74-5588 Palani Road in Kailua-Kona.
