Police: Runaway Located, Then Runs Away Again

Kayzlyn Grammer

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help with locating, again, a teen that was reported as a runaway.

According to a media release from the Hawai‘i Police Department, 15-year-old Kayzlyn Grammer, who was previously reported as a runaway, was found Sunday, Aug. 7, in good health in Hilo. However, Grammer subsequently ran away again Monday, Aug. 8.

She was last seen at 2 p.m. Monday on Aupuni Street in Hilo, wearing a brown long-sleeve top, gray zipper hoodie sweater and blue jeans.

Grammer is described as local, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 90 pounds, with a tan complexion and thin build, long black hair with blonde highlights and brown eyes. She has a nose piercing in her right nostril.

Anyone who might have information about Grammer’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311.
