Fire Closes West Hawaiʻi Organics Facility in Kealakehe

Hawaiʻi County reports Saturday morning that a fire has prompted the closure of the West Hawaiʻi Organics Facility in Kealakehe.

Hawaiʻi Fire Department is on scene and continuing to work towards subduing the blaze, the department reported around 7:30 a.m. There is no suspicion of foul play at this time. The Organics Facility will be closed to the public until further notice.
