Public Invited to Attend Online Humpback Sanctuary Advisory Council Meeting

The public is invited to attend an online meeting of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary advisory council next week.

The sanctuary’s advisory council will meet from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28, via Google Meet. The public will have the opportunity to comment at 1 p.m.

The sanctuary is administered by a partnership of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries and the state Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Aquatic Resources. It works to protect humpback whales through research, education, conservation and stewardship. Join us on Facebook.
