Update: Kapuna Road between Highway 19 and the Old Māmalahoa Highway in is now open, the police department reported around 8 a.m. Friday.

Earlier version:

Kapuna Road between Highway 19 and the Old Māmalahoa Highway in Ahualoa/Honoka‘a is closed due to a fallen tree, the police department stated in a news release on Thursday afternoon.
