Update:

The Hawai‘i Police Department said at 11:30 a.m. Saturday that missing child Michael Halican has been located in good health in Hilo.  HPD thanked the public for their assistance.

HPD is looking for a missing child: Michael Halican, male, 7 years old, is described as 4 feet tall, 54 lbs., Hawaiian/Caucasian, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen on Paipai Street in Hilo today, Saturday, June 25, at 8:41 a.m. wearing red white and blue Harlem Globetrotters shorts and shirt.

Michael Halican’s mother January Andres, 46, is reported to have left a residence on Paipai Street in Hilo with Michael after a domestic dispute. Andres is operating a brown BMW SUV bearing Hawaii license plate ZFE601. If you have information that can assist in helping safely locate Michael Halican, call 911 or contact the police.
