Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway reopened around 8 p.m. Police advised motorists around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday to avoid Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway and Makala Blvd southbound to Palani Road due to a traffic accident in Kona.
