Keauhou Shopping Center is hosting a Kamehameha Day Celebration with female falsetto champion, Lahela Lee Park.
Lee Park, Hawai`i’s first female falsetto champion, will perform Hawaiian music from 10 a.m. to noon in the parking lot facing Ali`i Drive near Longs/CVS. The event is free and open to the public. Join the event after the Kamehameha Day parade.
Lee Park of Hāna was named the first-ever winner of the inaugural Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha`iha`i Falsetto Contest on April 16 in Kapalua.
KidX STEM Is Sweet will be the same day and time as the Kamehameha Day celebration. STEM activity stations will be set up next to the stage. The interactive event is sure to help kids excel by getting them excited about science, technology, engineering and math.
