Customers of the Paʻauilo Post Office are being notified that the PO Box section, parcel lockers and mail drop slot will be temporarily closed to accommodate construction work.

Those sections of the post office will be closed from May 16-June 30 while a new ramp that complies with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements is constructed.

During the closure, PO Box customers will be able to pick up mail and parcels from the counter at the post office during regular retail hours from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and noon-2:30 p.m. weekdays and 9-11 a.m. on Saturdays.

“We apologize for any inconveniences that this temporary closure causes and appreciate our customers’ understanding and support,” Paʻauilo Postmaster Kim Stroh said in a press release. “As outlined in (U.S. Postal Service’s) Delivering for America plan, we are modernizing and continually adapting to the changing needs of our customers. Our customers are priority one, whether they’re located in the biggest cities or smaller communities such as Paʻauilo.”
