Kea‘au Teen Reported as Runaway

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Chanceton Lato, who was reported as a runaway.
Lato was last seen on Thursday, May 5 at 7:45 a.m. in the Kea‘au area wearing blue jeans, a dark blue Kea‘au High School shirt, black jacket, and black cap.
He is described as having a medium build, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, with short, straight black hair and brown eyes.
Police ask anyone with any information about this case to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
