Police Seek Teen Reported as Runaway

Big Island police are asking the public for help with locating a missing teen.
According to police, 14-year-old Uilani Ahuna was reported as a runaway. Ahuna was last seen at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo, carrying a backpack and wearing black sweat pants, a light gray sweater and black rubber slippers.
She is described as Hawaiian, with a slim build, about 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about Ahuna’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311.
