Police Report Brush Fire Near OTEC in West Hawai‘i

Big Island police reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, that a brush fire in West Hawai‘i is under control.
The fire is located on the makai side of Queen Kaʻahumanu Highway, near OTEC. Fire Crews are on scene.
No road closures are in effect. Police advise motorists to slow down and use caution when approaching the area.
