West Hawai‘i residents will have three chances this month to discuss issues and concerns with their local law enforcement.
Big Island police invite residents to attend three Coffee With a Cop events for an opportunity to get to know their district and community police officers over a cup of coffee.
“These popular events are informal, with no agenda, and are a great way for community members to talk story with police on a range of topics of mutual interest and concern,” said a media release from the Hawai‘i Police Department.
The April Kona Coffee with a Cop events are scheduled for:
8-10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Menehune Coffee Co. located at 84-5227 Māmalahoa Highway in Captain Cook.
8-10 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at Kona Mountain Coffee Co. located at 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive in Kailua-Kona.
8-10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at Kona Coffee & Tea located at 74-5588 Palani Road in Kailua-Kona.
