Body Found in Rainbow Falls ID’d

Hawai‘i Island police have identified the body found in the water at Rainbow Falls in Hilo on Saturday, March 26, as 37-year-old Adam David Broom, of Hilo.

On Tuesday morning, March 29, an autopsy was performed on Broom. The pathologist ruled out foul play; however, final autopsy results are pending toxicology testing.

Detectives with the Area I Criminal Investigation Section are continuing this investigation, which is currently classified as a coroner’s inquest.
