UPDATE: Both lanes on Highway 11 at the 45-mile marker near the Kapāpala Ranch in the Ka‘ū District are now OPEN to all traffic.
A one lane contra-flow is in effect on Highway 11 at the 45 mile marker near the Kapāpala Ranch in the Ka‘ū District due to a traffic accident involving a dump truck, the police department stated at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Motorist are advised to drive with caution when approaching the area. Expect delays for the next 2 hours.
