Over 1,000 Gallons of Wastewater Discharged Into Pepeʻekeo Coastal Waters

Approximately 1,055 gallons of undisinfected effluent wastewater discharged from Kulaimano Wastewater Treatment Plant in Pepeʻekeo Monday, Feb. 21.
The discharge occurred at approximately 2:07 p.m. The undisinfected discharge has been stopped.
The Department of Health advises the public to remain out of the coastal waters near Kulaimano Homestead Road. Warning signs have been posted.
