Police Looking For Missing Ō‘ōkala Teen

Donald Soars IV

Hawai’i Island Police are searching for 16-year-old Donald Soares IV of Ō‘ōkala, who was reported as a runaway.

Soares was last seen in the morning on Feb, 10 at his residence in Ō‘ōkala. It is unknown what Soares was wearing when he left the residence.

He is described as being 5 feet tall, 135 pounds, light skinned, with red hair.

Police ask anyone with information on Soares’ whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
