Uilani Ahuna

Police are asking for help from the public with locating a missing Big Island teen.

Hawai‘i Island authorities seek information about 14-year-old Uilani Ahuna, who was reported as a runaway.

According to a press release, she was last seen at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, on Kino‘ole Street in Hilo. She was wearing black pants, a short-sleeve black and maroon shirt, as well as a gray spaghetti-strap shirt and a black/camouflage hoodie.

Ahuna is described as Hawaiian with a slim build, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Ahuna’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311.
