Police Seeking Puna Runaway

Hawaiʻi Island Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile male who was reported as a runaway.
Sixteen-year-old Malakai Pung was last seen in the Kurtistown area on Friday, Feb. 4. He is described as being 5-feet-6-inches tall, and weighing around 120-130 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, brown pants, shoes, and riding a black Mongoose bicycle.
Police ask anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of Pung to call the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact officer Robert Keffer of Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
